I’m Shailesh Thakran

Timeline

1994: Born into a middle-class family – Delhi, India.

2010 (Age 16): Attended a government high school.

2011 (Age 17): Skipped one year to get into Automobile Engineering or Design at my favorite university (missed by 3 points—one of my regrets, but passion helped later in life).

2013 (Age 19): Had a passion for design. Cracked NIFT and DC Automobiles. However, the design was pretty expensive, so I skipped it.

2015 (Age 21): Studied Instrumentation & Control Engineering at Ambedkar Institute of Technology, Delhi.

2016 (Age 22): Got my first internship as an automobile content writer.

2017 (Age 23): Co-founded Letperf.com with friends and later exited—gained valuable experience building, managing, and scaling a business.

2018 (Age 24): Launched & grew the Throttlebias blog—earned good money and developed a deep passion for writing.

2018 (Age 24): Joined Pouring Pounds (CashKaro & EarnKaro) to handle marketing (organic growth).

2021 (Age 27): Launched and sold a few more blogs. I experienced “passive income” for the first time, and I started spending on both desires and necessities.

2021 (Age 27): Started working as a marketing consultant for brands such as Adobe, WordPress, Sprinklr, etc.

2022 (Age 28): Joined Emami Group to manage organic marketing.

2025 (Age 30): Launched my personal blog to share my thoughts on Automobiles & Wisdom.

2025 (Age 30): Planning Blogbias to teach people about blogging and make money through writing.

2025 (Age 31): So far, I’m in love with my professional work and content.
